Sanho Corp Launches iUSBportCAMERA

Wireless Tether For Canon/Nikon DSLRs To iPad, iPhone, Android devices
Turn Mobile Devices Into DSLR Remote Control And High Resolution Viewer

Monday, March 11, 2013 LAS VEGAS, NV – Sanho Corporation (WPPI 2013 Booth #1675), creator of the award-winning HYPER line of mobile and photo accessories, today announced the introduction of the latest member of the iUSBport family: iUSBportCAMERA, the innovative new wireless DSLR Remote Control and Live Viewfinder for iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

iUSBportCAMERA turns mobile devices into both an advanced wireless remote control with access to advanced features of DSLR cameras, and a wireless high-resolution photo viewer to share and review photos beyond the camera’s viewfinder, allowing for increased mobility, productivity and accessibility. Photographers have the added option of sharing photos with clients or other viewers instantly and can better execute challenging shots where the camera must be placed in difficult to reach positions.

“iUSBportCAMERA gives photographers increased capabilities, by enabling instant photo transfers wirelessly, increased mobility with remote camera control through mobile devices and added collaboration with off-site viewers and more,” said Daniel Chin, CEO of Sanho Corp.

Based on the same technology used in the rest of HYPER’s iUSBport line (iUSBport, iUSBportMINI, iUSBportHD), iUSBportCAMERA connects a camera’s USB port to any WiFi enabled mobile devices, including iOS and Android, as well as Mac and Windows devices. By mounting iUSBportCAMERA directly on a DSLR camera’s hot shoe, any accessory cold shoe mount or standard tripod and connecting to a camera’s USB port, photos taken become instantly available on a personal device for easier review, or on a remote device, allowing for collaboration and input from off-site viewers.

In addition to cameras, iUSBportCAMERA, like the rest of the iUSBport line, can also connect to any USB mass storage device like USB flash and hard drive to wirelessly stream media to any mobile device. Stream 1080p HD movies, music, photos and transfer files between mobile and USB devices.

Sanho sues Wooblue for pulling of CameraMator app

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sanho Sues Former Software Developer Partner Wooblue And Wooblue’s CEO Usman Rashid For Unlawful Removal Of CameraMator App From Apple AppStore And For Fraud And Breach Of Contract

FREMONT, CALIFORNIA (February 20, 2013) – Sanho Corporation (“Sanho”) – a leading designer and developer of electronics and electronics accessories – sued Wooblue, Inc. (“Wooblue”) and Wooblue’s CEO, Usman Rashid, for fraud, breach of contract, unfair business practices and other claims in a complaint filed today in Alameda County Superior Court.

Wooblue and Rashid are owners of the “CameraMator” trademark, CameraMator Kickstarter project, developers of the CameraMator app and operators of www.cameramator.com, @cameramator twitter account and facebook.com/cameramator facebook account.

Sanho is the technology, hardware, manufacturing, marketing, sales and distribution partner of Wooblue/Rashid in the CameraMator product.

“Sanho had no choice but to protect itself and Sanho’s customers after Wooblue and Rashid deliberately and wrongfully disabled the thousands of CameraMator products already in the hands of Sanho’s distributors and customers,” said Sanho President, Daniel Chin. No trial date has yet been set for Sanho’s complaint.

Wooblue and Rashid breached the parties’ development agreement for the CameraMator product and application, which is used with Sanho’s revolutionary Compact Universal Wireless Adapter, (“CUWA”).  Sanho’s patent-pending CUWA technology allows a device with a universal serial bus (USB) port (such as a computer, camera, or music player) to communicate wirelessly with other devices, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer.  Sanho’s claims arose after Wooblue and Rashid unlawfully removed the CameraMator application from the Apple AppStore and other similar markets.  Sanho’s complaint alleges that Wooblue and Rashid took that action knowing that it would harm Sanho’s relationships with its customers and distributors.

After Sanho announced its CUWA technology and made application kits available for developers, Rashid approached Sanho and sought to partner on the development and sale of the CameraMator product and application.  According to Sanho’s complaint, after sales of the CameraMator took off following its debut at the most recent CES and Macworld trade shows, Wooblue and Rashid tried to extort more favorable business terms from Sanho by holding Sanho’s customers hostage and taking down the CameraMator application rendering any unsold CameraMator products unusable. Further, by taking down the application, any owners of CameraMator products who did not download the application prior to Wooblue and Rashid removing the application from the AppStore will not be able to use the CameraMator product that they purchased.

Details of the Sanho vs Wooblue/Usman Rashid lawsuit can be found below:

Thanks for an AMAZING CES 2013!

We would like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to all the motivated, creative, and talented individuals who made CES 2013 the best show we’ve ever had. It was an absolute pleasure to meet so many new and interesting people while also strengthening and revisiting our previously-made relationships.

As some of you may have seen or heard, our booth dubbed “HYPERWorld” has garnered a substantial amount of chatter – both positive and negative. We would like to thank you all for sharing your valued opinions in our inboxes, on our Facebook wall, and in our Twitter feed. That said, it seems that a small group of people have chosen to view our booth as offensive and hateful. So much, in fact, that a blogger/activist by the name of “Miss Representation” has taken it upon herself to use such words as “dehumanizing,” “props,” and “feeding rape culture” to fuel a trending campaign based on a single photo taken completely out of context. #NotBuyingIt is what many of her followers are posting through their social filters in regards to HYPER and our products – an overwhelming majority of which did not attend the show. We are a company co-managed and co-owned by women – and our motivated and well-educated CES product specialists acted as the main information source for booth visitors during the show. We are prideful of our company image, and will continue to depict our products in a fashionable manner moving forward.

What is offensive, however, is that an organization (aka Miss Representation) based on civil rights and allegedly focused on “the greater good” has taken it upon themselves to leverage their opinions and instigation by reaching out to our company to gain our business. Below, you will see an actual chat transcript dated Friday January 11th – one day after #NotBuyingIt became public – from a Miss Representation “representative.” Keep in mind that a particular staffer named Imran Siddiquee sent this, who is openly spreading hate about HYPER through his personal Twitter account.

Daniel Chin on Miss Representation and #NotBuyingIt, “We were approached by MissRepresentation.org, the organization behind the #NotBuyingIt viral attack with offers to manage our public relations in the midst of the illusion of an uproar and stirring controversy, created no less by that very organization. I would like to go on record to say that there is no damage to control and we are not apologetic for anything. The overwhelming majority who were at CES and saw our display appreciate and understand what we were trying to do. We will continue to engage the rest who were not present yet were quick to pass harsh judgment based on a single photo taken out of context. HYPER is co-owned by men and women. The hardworking men and women who worked to put together the CES booth were deeply offended by said fraudulent organization that ultimately aims to profiteer by attempting to hurt our company’s image. The impression of an uproar and stirring controversy has given us more publicity than we could’ve imagined.

Thanks again to everyone involved with CES 2013 who helped make it a raging success for HYPER – even you, Miss R. We appreciate your energy – be it positive or negative. If you ever fall short of it… we have a great product line, HYPER ++ JUICE, that can help you with that.

See you in 2014!

Press Release – HyperShield Unveils 3-in-1 Smart Pen For iPad 2 And Other Capacitive Screens

Capacitive Touch Screen Stylus, Ballpoint Pen And “Smart” Function That Wakes Up iPad 2 From Sleep With A Single Stroke Of Stylus

SUNNYVALE, California – August 1, 2011, Sanho Corporation today announced the HyperShield 3-in-1 Smart Pen for the iPad 2. It is a stylus that works with any capacitive touch screen (e.g. iPad, iPhone etc.) as well as a ballpoint pen for traditional writing. What sets it apart from other styli in the market is that the HyperShield stylus has the “smart” ability to wake up the iPad 2 with a single stroke at the iPad 2 magnetic sensor.

Stylus
HyperShield stylus consist of a soft conductive rubber tip that closely mimics the human finger when interacting with the iPad, iPhone or any capacitive touch screen. With the stylus, the user can tap and swipe on the touchscreen just like they would with their fingers, except without fingerprints. In addition, they can also write and draw on the touchscreen naturally with a pen-like device. The stylus fine rubber tip offers greater touch precision than a finger and is perfectly safe for all touch screens.

Ballpoint Pen
The HyperShield 3-in-1 Smart Pen is housed in aircraft grade anodized aluminum which also contains a ballpoint pen, secured with a pen cap at the other end. The ballpoint pen uses standard Parker pen refill. The long slender pen shape is perfectly balanced and is comfortable to be held by all hand types and sizes for long periods of use.

“Smart” function to wake up iPad 2 with a single stroke
What really sets the HyperShield 3-in-1 Smart Pen apart from the other styli in the market is that the stylus rubber tip is also magnetized, with the “smart” ability to turn on and wake up an iPad 2 from sleep with a single simple stroke of the stylus on the iPad 2 top right screen bezel, where the magnetic sensor is located, which was originally intended to interact with the Apple Smart Cover.

Pricing and Availability
The HyperShield 3-in-1 Smart Pen is available in 6 different attractive colors of black, white, gun metal, silver, red and blue. It is now available for sale for $19.95 at www.hypershield.com.

Press Release – HyperThin – World’s Thinnest And Most Flexible HDMI Cable

Ultra Portable HDMI Cable Designed With Today’s Portable Electronics (Apple TV, iPad, iPhone) In Mind, Delivering Maximum High Definition Audio Video Performance On-The-Go

SUNNYVALE, California -July 25, 2011,  Sanho Corporation, the company behind HyperJuice, HyperDrive and HyperShield today announced the arrival of HyperThin, the world’s thinnest, most compact and most flexible HDMI cable capable of delivering the maximum high definition digital audio video performance from the Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac mini and other HDMI capable portable electronics. It fits easily in small pockets and connects flexibly in tight spaces.

HDMI is regarded today as the standard for transmitting high definition digital audio and video and increasingly, more portable electronics are HDMI capable, like the Apple TV, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod touch 4, Mac mini and many others. While products incorporating HDMI support are getting smaller by the day, HDMI cables have generally remained large, bulky and unwieldy.

HyperThin is different and is designed with today’s portable electronics in mind. Utilizing the latest micro coaxial cable technology, HyperThin is up to 75% thinner than regular HDMI cables and more than 35% thinner than our nearest competitor (Monster SuperThin). It is even thinner than the Apple iPhone USB sync cable.

Despite being the thinnest HDMI cable on the market, HyperThin is no slouch in performance. It tops industry benchmarks and specifications, as independently verified by Sony HDMI testing labs. HyperThin is capable of full HD 1080p and beyond, up to 8K resolution. It supports the latest HDMI 1.4, 3DTV and 7.1 channel digital surround audio specifications. It is also the fastest HDMI cable around supporting more than 15.8Gps HD bandwidth, 240Hz video image refresh rate and 48-bit color for stunning lifelike color and video.

While most HDMI cables are larger, heavier and more unwieldy than the portable electronics they are supposed to support, HyperThin is more compact and lighter than a USB cable of the same length, making it easy and convenient to carry the HDMI cable everywhere together with the portable device.

HyperThin is also 4 times more flexible than the regular HDMI cables, allowing for easy routing through tight spaces and tricky connections. Using a lightweight and flexible cable with smaller portable electronics eliminates the chance of device damage and cable disconnection, which would have been caused by using a mismatched cable that is much heavier, stiffer and bulkier than the portable device.

HyperThin offers the ultimate performance, convenience and portability for the user of today’s portable electronics who demands the best high definition audio video quality on-the-go.

HyperThin is now available at hyperthin.com in 2 different lengths, 0.8 meter ($19.95) and 2.5 meters ($39.95). It comes in 2 different colors, black and white to match the latest Apple iDevice and all popular portable electronics.

Press Release – Sanho Announces 2nd Iteration Of HyperDrive iPad-compatible Hard Drive

Users Can Directly Use iPad To Browse And Transfer Up To 1TB Of Video And Photo Content

MACWORLD 2011 SAN FRANCISCO, California – January 28, 2011, Sanho Corporation (Booth 710) today announce the second iteration of their popular HyperDrive Hard Drive for iPad, the only hard drive in the market that can connect directly to the iPad via the Apple Camera Connection Kit. This new version allows users to directly use their iPads to browse and transfer up to 1TB of video and photo content without the need for computers, additional apps or a jailbroken ipad.

Finished in a slim enclosure, the HyperDrive looks exactly like any portable USB hard drive except that it has 2 mini USB ports, one for connecting to the computer to function as a normal USB hard drive and the other to connect to the iPad via the Apple Camera Connection Kit.

Using the Apple Camera Connection Kit, the iPad is able to connect to SD cards and self-powered USB devices. However there is a size limitation of 32GB, making it impossible for larger USB hard drives to connect to the iPad. HyperDrive iPad Hard Drive overcomes this limit with its unique patent pending ability to turn individual file folders into virtual 32GB drives on the fly that is readable by the iPad. While the HyperDrive is bus powered when connected to the computer, it has an internal 1600mAh battery to power its connection to the iPad.

Users can first transfer their entire movie and photo library from their computer to the HyperDrive via USB. Once that is done, users will have up to 1TB of media accessible to the iPad anytime.

To transfer media from the HyperDrive to the iPad, users just need to connect the HyperDrive to the iPad via a USB cable and the Apple Camera Connection Kit. The HyperDrive hard drive folder contents will appear on the iPad screen and users can navigate the folders to search for videos and photos to download to the iPad.

“HyperDrive iPad Hard Drive lets you carry your entire HD movie and photo library with your iPad,” says Daniel Chin, President of Sanho Corporation. “HyperDrive is as compact as your portable USB hard drive and yet at capacities up to 1TB, can hold more data than your laptop,” he added. “The iPad is the perfect media player but its capacities are limited and it requires a computer and iTunes to transfer media to the iPad,” he continued. “HyperDrive releases the iPad from this restriction and truly turns it into a media consuming device,” he concludes.

Features

- Connects to the iPad to transfer photos, movies and other media
- Connect HyperDrive as a USB hard drive to the computer
- Support multiple partitioned hard drive formats

Price and Availability

The new HyperDrive Hard Drive for iPad ships in March 2011 and is available for pre-order now at the following manufacturer’s suggested retail price (0GB: $99, 320GB:$199, 500GB:$249, 640GB:$299, 750GB:$349, 1TB: $399). It is available at http://www.hyperdrive.com/ipad
